Georgia Counties Public Records

Georgia's 159 county governments and their departments provide a large portion of public records requested by individuals and private entities. County governments are charged with recording, maintaining and providing public information, incident or arrest reports, real estate documentation, court records which include both civil and criminal filings. As county departments are the original recorder and provider of many public records, these local departments must be contacted independently.
